If you must cancel your houseboat reservation. You will need to notify us at least 60 days prior to your departure date. If cancellations are made outside of 60 days of your departure date, then you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $150 cancellation fee per houseboat. If your cancellation is received between 59 and 45 days prior to your departure date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to your deposit amount. Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to your scheduled departure date are subject to forfeiture of the total amount.

Damage Waiver

As a Charterer, your responsibility for any covered loss or damage will be $10,000 or otherwise equal to the security/damage deposit. If you, as Charterer, accept the non-refundable optional Damage Waiver at the time of the charter, your responsibility will be reduced from $10,000 to the amount equal to the security/damage deposit for the covered loss. Important: Damage Waiver is not insurance. Loss of, or damage to inventory items, boat propellers, outdrives, the property of the charterer, additional users and other parties are not covered by the damage waiver.

Security/Damage Deposit:

Your Security/Damage deposit secures your reservation prior to full payment.

Houseboats:

The security deposit is applied toward the rental fee.

Small Watercraft (PWCs, ski boats, fishing boats, etc.):

The deposit is in addition to the rental fee and is held as a damage deposit during your rental period. The deposit is refundable when your craft is returned to the marina, properly fueled, cleaned and unloaded on time, and in the same condition as when you departed.

Trip Cancellation Protection:

This non-refundable option protects your vacation investment in case of an emergency resulting in the cancellation of your rental. When you purchase this protection, your houseboat deposit and rental payment become fully refundable if you cancel your trip inside the cancel policy due to an emergency, whether it is for medical, professional or personal reasons. If the reservation is canceled more than 60 days prior to the departure date the standard cancellation fee would apply and your remaining payment would be refunded.

Important: Trip Cancellation Protection may only be purchased within 7 days of reservation booking date and no less than 60 days prior to the departure of your trip. Trip Cancellation Protection cannot be canceled or transferred once purchased. If your reservation dates change, and Trip Cancellation Protection has been purchased, this protection cannot be applied to the new reservation.

Transfer Fee:

If you must reschedule your vacation due to a conflict with your original reservation, you may do so if it is at least 60 days prior to your original departure date, during the same calendar year. You will incur a non-refundable $50.00 transfer fee, per change made to your original reservation.

Rental Agreement:

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a houseboat or an additional watercraft. Before departing the marina you will be requested to sign a rental agreement which includes an Acknowledgment of Risks, Release of Liability and Agreement to Arbitrate. Declining to execute this agreement will result in the cancellation of your reservation. All persons boarding the vessel must sign the lease. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf. Any person(s) potential operator operating the vessel must sign the lease stating they are liable. Upon your arrival, please be prepared to sign the "Rental Agreement and Participants Acknowledgment of Risks", and "Release of Liability and Agreement to Arbitrate."

Start & Return Time

Houseboat boarding is between 8 AM & 10 AM on the trip's start date and houseboats are due back by 2 PM on their date of return. For example, a 3-day rental beginning Friday would be due back by 2 PM on Sunday.
