The main salon has upgraded interior decor including furniture, electronics, premium window views, a raised dining room table and premium wood kitchen cabinetry handworked by Amish craftsmen in Indiana. In addition to those extra frills, each bedroom is equipped with an LCD television, DVD player and satellite television.

Payment Policy: A first day's rental deposit, prior to any applicable discounts or promotions, is required to confirm your reservation if made before 60 days from departure date and will be applied directly toward the rental rate. A rental term is generally a minimum of 2 days depending on boat model and season. Some models are only available for a 3 or 7-day minimum. A $500 Security Deposit must be placed on a valid credit card as security against all Losses. Guest will be responsible for all Losses in excess of the Security Deposit.
Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your houseboat reservation, notify us at least 60 days prior to your departure date and your deposit will be refunded less a $150 cancellation fee per houseboat. Cancellations received between 59 and 45 days prior to departure date are subject to a cancellation fee equal to your deposit amount. Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to scheduled departure date are subject to forfeiture of total prepayment.
IMPORTANT: Full payment is due at least 60 days prior to your scheduled departure date. If full rental payment is not received at least 60 days prior to departure date, your reservation will be considered canceled and your entire deposit will be forfeited. All reservations made less than 60 days from scheduled departure date must be paid in full within 48 hours of making your reservation.
If you must reschedule your vacation or change your equipment rental during the same year, there is a $50.00 service fee when the original departure date is more than 60 days in advance. Rescheduling less than 60 days prior to original departure date may result in loss of deposit and/or payments the same as a cancellation (see above).
Due to the limited quantity of available craft and the advanced nature of houseboat reservations, it is important to note that there are no exceptions to the cancellation policy due to personal emergencies. For this reason, we recommend Trip Cancellation Protection for boat rental reservations.
Damage Waiver
As a Charterer, your responsibility for any covered loss or damage will be $10,000 or otherwise equal to the security/damage deposit. If you, as Charterer, accept the non-refundable optional Damage Waiver at the time of the charter, your responsibility will be reduced from $10,000 to the amount equal to the security/damage deposit for the covered loss. Important: Damage Waiver is not insurance. Loss of, or damage to inventory items, boat propellers, outdrives, the property of the charterer, additional users and other parties are not covered by the damage waiver.
Security/Damage Deposit:
Your Security/Damage deposit secures your reservation prior to full payment.
Houseboats:
The security deposit is applied toward the rental fee.
Small Watercraft (PWCs, ski boats, fishing boats, etc.):
The deposit is in addition to the rental fee and is held as a damage deposit during your rental period. The deposit is refundable when your craft is returned to the marina, properly fueled, cleaned and unloaded on time, and in the same condition as when you departed.
Transfer Fee:
If you must reschedule your vacation due to a conflict with your original reservation, you may do so if it is at least 60 days prior to your original departure date, during the same calendar year. You will incur a non-refundable $50.00 transfer fee, per change made to your original reservation.
Rental Agreement:
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a houseboat or an additional watercraft. Before departing the marina you will be requested to sign a rental agreement which includes an Acknowledgment of Risks, Release of Liability and Agreement to Arbitrate. Declining to execute this agreement will result in the cancellation of your reservation. All persons boarding the vessel must sign the lease. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf. Any person(s) potential operator operating the vessel must sign the lease stating they are liable. Upon your arrival, please be prepared to sign the "Rental Agreement and Participants Acknowledgment of Risks", and "Release of Liability and Agreement to Arbitrate."
Start & Return Time
Houseboat boarding is between 8 AM & 10 AM on the trip's start date and houseboats are due back by 2 PM on their date of return. For example, a 3-day rental beginning Friday would be due back by 2 PM on Sunday.
